In typical surveillance applications, mostly megapixel and PTZ cameras are used. However, these reach the limits of their performance capabilities particularly when observing large spatial contexts.

The Panomera® multifocal-sensor technology combines the advantages of both camera technologies to secure perimeter scenarios, public spaces and large areas with substantially fewer systems and infrastructure components.

The result is a much better, seamless surveillance of the area with significantly lower Total Cost of Ownership.

The "AI" icon indicates whether the pixel density in the target image area is sufficient to allow an AI-based classification of objects such as people, cars, bicycles, etc. (pixel density > 62.5 px/m).

The “privacy icon” right to “AI” indicates whether personal data is captured in the current detail view (pixel density > 62.5 px/m) and additional privacy protection matters should be implemented.

With Panomera® Multifocal Sensor Technology, you always have everything in view at all times and also for later tracking with maximum image quality.

With a PTZ camera, you lose the overall picture as soon as you zoom into the scene.
